Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tizi nTamaterte – Wanskra:

  • We will pick you up at your hotel or riad in Marrakech and start our route through the Imlil Valley.
  • We’ll depart the vehicle in Imlil then begin our journey with our mugger, guiding us along the winding roads towards the east.
  • Our plan is to contact Tizi n’Tamaterte for the picnic location.
  • It is possible to enjoy Jbel Oukaimeden and the plateau surrounding it.
  • After eating, we’ll take the trail that descends to the Imnane valley until we arrive at our stopover hostel in Wanskra village.
  • On this day, we will be walking for about 5-6 hours.

Day 2: Wanskra – Ikkis – Tizi n’Aguersiwal – Aguersiwal – Imlil:

  •  After eating breakfast, we will descend into the Assif Imnane Valley and stop at various Berber villages.
  • Our objective is to reach Tizi n’Aguersiwal (2000 meters) by climbing.
  • By mule trails, we will descend through the pass and reach the village of Aguersiwal.
  • We will be having lunch at Aguersiwal.
  • Imlil can be reached by following the river through the valley.
